What mods to achieve 350whp?
Hey Everyone!
Just had a quick question for everyone.. What mods did ya'll do to your evo to achieve 350 whp and how much did it cost? I know this a bit of a noob question, but I just want to see your setups
I have an 05 MR and im not sure if these mods will get me there or not..
- Mishimoto Radiator -- Have
- Mishimoto LICP and Muse UICP -- Have
- XS power 02 Dump -- Have
- ported stock mani -- Have
- intake -- Have
- 3' turbo back exhaust -- Have
- HKS 272 cams -- Have
- VRSF 3.5' FMIC -- Getting
- 255 walbro -- Getting
- Evo IX turbo -- Maybe getting
- Updated Tune -- Getting

You've posted a number of threads that have been answered 1000 times. This platform is over a decade old and there is a lot of information out there on it.
Search and take notes from people that have achieved good results.
To answer your question , evo 9 turbo downpipe,exhaust,fuel pump, bcs and mostly importantly a professional tune.
These cars don't need to be modded to death. Keep it simple.
It's important to have fresh spark plugs gapped at .018-.022 and a boost leak test done before you get tuned on a Dyno .
Search and take notes from people that have achieved good results.

Spend some time searching the forum. You're not the first person (or the last) to ask this question. The information is out there. Glad you're taking time to learn and ask questions about your car but just spend some quality time with her and on her reading what's available.
FYI, I got to about 350whp for under $1200 back in 2006 when my Evo was new. It wasn't expensive then and isn't now. Good luck!
