Shifter base bushings, now no reverse lights?

Hello,

I'm new to Evo ownership, finally found a decent IX MR and am loving it so far.

I just replaced the shifter base bushings with Torque bushings, from a quick drive around the block the difference is immediate and great. Problem is, now my reverse lights aren't working, what could I have hit/unplugged to cause this?

I appreciate any tips you can provide, thanks in advance.

I'd look at the backup light switch which is dead center on top of the transmission.

as said above check the reverse switch, its right under the battery tray but you can get to it without removing the tray
