I've had the problem for a while, even with a new TPS. All 3 wires are getting a signal from the ECU. I've even cut off the connector and pinned them to the sensor with mini blade female connectors. The 5V wire reads 5.04V but doesnt change when opening the throttle.

The car drive's fine but has a bad surging idle and idles really low until it's warmed up. Is there anything else to look at?

5.04v WAY TOO HIGH

Have you adjusted it properly? Its supposed to be between 0.535-0.735 Volts with key on car off, and then WOT it goes to about 5v Ill get the sheet and post it momentarily

Here we go..

I'll test the voltage again, but it reads 0% at any throttle position and at any position adjusting the TPS itself.

You've pressed "start datalogger" right?

Yes, I first noticed the issue when I couldn't use Virtual Dyno because it didn't have the throttle position in the data logs.

I used a scantool to read the TPS voltage to set it correctly, see if you can get a reading on that. how did you measure the 5v?

I used a multimeter but I might have read it wrong. It could have been .5V

That could make sense, I tried with my multimeter but it wouldnt fit into the connector so I used a scan tool
