A 156mm Carrillo is plenty for 9500-10000rpm. The higher you rev it the harder it is going to be to shift and keep the oil pump in it.
If you need to go past 10k I would put you into an aluminum rod. Dogbox and dry sump would also be a good idea.
What are your power goals. Going with a custom piston is a little bit more then shelf parts but you could do an offset pin to help with rod angle . Also, other piston options would net you more power.

±400-450 hp, reasonably small turbo to keep car everyday drivable

9k rpm is fine

why not 162 mm ?

A longer rod is going to weigh more and if you aren't going to rev it to the moon it's not needed. A Carrillo is a great lightweight steel rod , I've got a set in my engine . Easier on the bearings and less reciprocating weight. A 400-450hp turbo is going to run into back pressure long before 9K rpm.

You don't need to spin your engine to crazy high RPM if you're keeping power low and using a small turbo.
