Have I pressed the hub in too hard here? Looks like bearing seal is sitting proud! It's flush on the other side.

How do I recover from this?

 

I doubt its ever going to cause a problem.

 

You cant do much but try and press it more.

If so mske sure you put a flst plate on opposite side of bearing so it doesnt fall apart.

That or rock it or start over.

 

This hub is quite a bit harder to turn than the other side. Wondering if I have the pressed in too hard or not straight? I had a bush supporting the bottom side of the bearing in the appropriate place as I pressed the hub in.

If it is binding up then something is wrong. Can you remove the bearing? Try to press it in again.

 

I'll have a go at removing it, easier said than done tho
