Rear Diff Oil - Motul Gear 300 or Castrol Syntrax

I have some left over oil. Motul Gear 300 or Castrol Syntrax Universal Plus 75-90.

Which would be better for the rear diff on my Evo7?

I'd use oem since it has the best balance of modifiers to keep the clutch packs on the rear diff for the limited slip happy.

The Castrol would be better choice, I'd run the gear 300 on my trans.

question is, which diff you have.. AYC or RS plate diff?

if AYC, then you can use gear 300 in the ring and pinion part of the diff and AYC oil (ATF SPII) for the clutch bath part...

If you have RS diff then you need LS oil..
