IM and throttle body upgrades are some of the most expensive least rewarding upgrades you can do to a car. (any car)

unless you are chasing PEAK HP or your are maxing out the flow of your current throttle body (HAHAHA) you might be costing your self power, and you for sure will be causing worse throttle response and lowering torque.

there are a ton of better uses for the same money, well unless your goal is "polished intake manifold" or some other "look at me" thing like 4" intake plumbing on 300hp car.

sorry, off on a tangent there.

Don’t waste your money. If you really want to do anything do a port to the stock im and tb.

I’m aiming for 700-750 awhp but wanted to know the advantages of the the IM and TB will give advantages or will it give little power or wont there be a huge difference .

for a big horsepower build... intakes = 50hp up top.

AMS is nicer.
Magnus makes just a bit more power (not much)

Stock manifold, unported head, stock piping size will perform and spool better, those IM for your application will actually hurt you.

ams comes with the nice oil dipstick and tube, and bracket. bolts up nice and looks nice.

i dont think the magnus comes with any of that and you just have to rig stuff up.

typically, you can find the AMS for a little less money... but thats been a few years ago. may be different now.

You will loose lots of mid range torque. I made 700whp at 32psi on a 3586 with ported stock im.

I've seen stocker and light ported one make crazy power, If I had to do it again I would just ported unless I'm looking to break some Horsepower records and have endless money funds

I'm with Magnus. Superb fitment.
Except the dipstick bracket which you need to modify a bit.
It has 5L Plenum.
Flow-bench tested runners:
1st 369 CFM
2nd 377 CFM
3rd 377 CFM
4th 352 CFM
Total: 1475 CFM

Didn't find AMS F1 flow bench tests results. But I think they are a bit less.

English racing has a good comparison discussion and dyno.
I do think the magnus will make a few more horses...

i bought my new AMS for $800 shipped.
the cheapest i could find a magnus was $1000 shipped.

Use a Skunk2 Manifold, ported by STM or Curt brown. And a s90 TB because it has a BISS (youll thank me when you idle is great). This is basically the same setup STM used to run their 8.0@180 (cept they used the Full Blown TB, which I dont like since it has no BISS)

With those two other manifold, Im pretty sure your stuck running a Boomba or other big TB, which doesn't have a BISS. Also, i feel they are over kill for only 700-750whp. I feel those Manifold are for 800/900+
