Hardrace vs Cusco vs Torque Solution

Just wondering if anyone has used the Hardrace engine mount kits and if they are good quality. They are much cheaper compared to Torque Solutions.

Hi Eric

Joe

They look to be pressed / fabricated steel vs the CNC billet style mounts from TS. They likely work well. No real need for the more expensive CNC machining (who knows, maybe they flex more than the CNC mounts?)

^Huh there you have it, thanks Joe! I see my problem I thought this was their product offerings: http://www.buyhardrace.com/categorie...iii-ix_36.html

So OP to help answer your question, as Joe mentioned it seems the main different is the material and process in which the mounts are manufactured. Im not sure the durometer rating of the actual mounts; I think that would be something that would be good to know when comparing the two to get an idea of how they compare in the NVH department.

As for stiffness and/or flex in the actual mount comparing billet to fabricated steel I dont think there is enough information to draw a conclusion that one has the advantage in that department without testing them. But I will say, my bet is that the TS mounts being billet have the advantage in the weight department so those who are looking to shed the pounds might be more drawn to those vs the Hardrace ones.

If you really want to save money, buy the AMS poly inserts for the stock mounts. It's what I did.
