Competition twin disk vs Exedy twin.

I have looked and read, most of what i found is older. I am about to pull the trigger on a twin disk. I have always thought the Exedy twin is the clutch to pick. I saw that Comp Clutch twin disk comes with everything to go from Pull to push. and they also say holds more power. All for the same price or is it smart to just stick with Exedy?

I've always been a fan of Exedy. I currently run one of their triples. Not sure if you can go wrong with either, I just prefer the tried and true Exedy.

Exedy twin has spring disks, which makes it better for so many reasons.

However, it tends to wear quickly when subjected to a lot of launching.

Comp makes great products. I've got their stage 4 clutch and love it. Holds back to back to back to back to back to back to back to back passes with 6k launches at the dragstrip without issue. I was going to get their twin disk but don't have the room to fit the bracket to flip the slave cylinder with how my hot side intercooler pipe is routed.

Honestly, you can't go wrong with either. Also, if you are dailying it you may want to consider a single disk clutch as twins and triples aren't the most daily friendly clutches.

If you end up getting the exedy be sure to get an ACT monoloc and a clutch fork stop.

Exedy twin is perfectly good daily clutch, they engage very nicely. The reason I lean towards it over the comp is it has sprung disks. Your transmission will thank you.
