Bummer

So....... the other day i posted about my hose from FPR being disconnected here:

https://www.evolutionm.net/forums/ev...r-problem.html

i thought nothing happened and all is well but... yesterday coming home from work i smelled a sweet smell and im like OH SH##! looked under the hood and found coolant leaking from the driver side of engine where block meets the head. yup, blown headgasket. sucks because i just replaced the clutch. bummer bummer.

since i will be replacing the HG other than the listed below, what else should i do.

-new OEM HG
-ARP headstuds
-full timing belt/water pump/ tensioner job

Thanks in advance!

You'll want to send the head out to be resurfaced or at least checked before reinstalling. I know I would.

I just did a head gasket on my car.

Full timing components, water pump, head gasket, intake gasket, exhaust gasket, valve seals, resurface,t stat. Diy a port job also.

I spent about $900-1000 with parts and machine shop costs. Also had injectors tested and cleaned. $25 each.

Valve cover gasket. Thermostat housing gasket.

Gsc power devision.
Gsc valve seals
Oem retainers
With spring part number 5039
Or 5041 comes with retainers. Those will likely need to be installed and measured. The 5039 is good enough and uses oem retainer.

was he running single or dual GSC valve springs? I don't think the 5039's are rated for S3's
