Valve cover baffles

Valve cover baffles

Are the baffles in the valve cover needed? Im going with a vented catch can and the valve cover has no baffles. Only problems I see is the catch can fikking up quick but if I install a kiggly hla would it help

For a street car Yes. If it were a drag only car with a dry sump you wouldn't be concerned with them

Mitsubishi designed and built a great platform that you don't have to try and re-engineer the wheel.

If the car gets driven more than a 1/4 mike at a time, you need the baffles in the valve cover

if you take the baffles out... ALOT of oil will make its way out the vents.
so the general answer is YES. they are needed.
