Recommended source for MHI turbine housing?

I am considering going back to a FP RED or BLACK but am kinda leaning toward using the MHI turbine housing. Is there a trusted source for these still?

I have looked around some but have only found stuff on eBay etc. Also it seems that FP no longer offers the 18psi waste gate actuator. I think I have one tucked away in the garage but may have sold it. What are people using these days?

Starting to think that I might need to go a different route.

25psi gate makes 20psi on my ported MHI red. There isn't really a "source" for MHI housing anymore. Gotta find a good used one.

Found a few places for new ones but they want $800...

Seems like changing setups or selling is the best option. I want something which recirculates to help pass inspection. Open dump tubes tend to be hard to hide.

Found STM sells a recirculating downpipe. Just wish I could keep the twin scroll. I had one of the first Reds and loved it. Went to a t3 HTA35r and it was fun but kinda laggy on the stock 2.0l. Was thinking of going to a FP Black but since it now also open scroll, I am kinda second guessing myself.

Going to be building the motor and want to move away from my current open dump setup.

You could look into some of the offerings by Blouch as those still use the MHI housings.

I will check out turbo labs as well. Since it was mwntionwd above, I have been looking at the Blouch 3.0xtr and just wish there was more dyno results. The thing seems to be a ghost.

Blouch and BBK are the same, so you can look at those dyno results.

The BBK-C seems to have little data as well. I can find dynonsheets for the others though.

Don't know how I missed this post but can confirm that this is true. Makes me wonder why people say they don't make them any more.

They don't make them anymore. What you can buy is just the remaining stock that's left.

Usually OE manufacturers will produce replacement parts for 10ish years and after that they will make a final large batch that is supposed to last anywhere between 5-10 years after the assembly line for that part is decommissioned.

Interesting. The dealership I contacted didn't seem concerned but maybe that was due to the stock pile available from Japan. Can't decide if I should buy a few or just order as needed
