knocking noise coming from lower timing belt area
hey guys really need some help figuring out a noise am having with my evo 5 with evo 7 engine swap basically the same as us models,,, the noise seem to be coming from my oil pump but ive never heard of a oil pump knocking,,, so heres what ive noticed it doesnt make the noise at idle only when i try to drive from stand still at low rpm drove the car over a pit an had a buddy of mine move the car really slow and could hear and feel tapping in the oil filter it also make the knocking when i slow down to change into a lower a gear and accelerate slowly like i said no noise at idle an none at higher rpm
