Coil Pack

Looking to change my coils.

Have seen these on eBay : Napol Performance Coil development coil packs for the Evo.

Has anyone used these ?

Any info appreciated.

Thanks.

You can also switch to COP setup, if you hunt around you can find them cheaper.

Thanks for the reply. Was considering a COP kit also: Saw this kit from Spoolinup DIY COP KIT. Has anyone used this kit to make their own COP kit? I have seen the thread on here and the thread on the MLR about using the Honda/Toyot (Yaris) coils for the kit.

Would be interested to hear if anyone has experience of the Napol kit.

I spent under $60 on CBR954R coils and wire harnesses, got an AEM Twinfire and made my own COP system. I think I know someone with a brand new Sparktech setup that he might part with.

Thanks Bill. Do you have any further details of your setup?

Can you forward the details of the owner of the Sparktech setup please?

It was pretty straightforward. Just followed the Twin fire wiring diagram with inputs from the stock coils and wired the oitputs to each stick coil and gave the unit power and ground. The stick coils are very tight to the spark plug cover so they don't move.

My friend isn't on here. He sold his Evo a while ago but when I was in his garage a few months ago I saw a new Sparktech setup, a 42R earth kit and a bunch of other things he mwvwr put on the car...I grabbed spark plugs with what I had in my pocket at the time. If yoire interested I'll find out if he still has it and wants to sell

Thanks again Bill.

If you would enquire if he is selling the Sparktech kit and how much he is asking for it, I'd appreciate it.
