What makes Boostin stand out above shep or TRE? I need to get my 5speed rebuilt for road racing and Im debating on who to go with.

 

@lancerrally45 that's a good question I would also like to know what makes them stand out . because I'm getting my transmission rebuilt this winter.

 

100k mi on my 06 Evo 9, hard to shift into 1st gear, Synchro might be going out. I am interested in this.

 

Im just wondering what the extra ~$200 on the base price of the rebuild gets me. As far as I know, most are all the same with the exception of Jacks and how they use pop cans for shims.. lol "allegedly".

 

TRE's work far exceeds Shep. And TRE used to build Boostin's transmissions. Not sure if he still does.

 

They are only three hours away from each other. Would make sense.
