vibration at 6000+ RPM's..need help.

hi, after a recent gear swap and clutch install, the car is vibrating at 6000+ rpms, when driving slowly everything seems normal.

to replace these, the whole under part of the car was removed, including drive shaft and axles, during this process the right front CV boot was damaged and flung out grease, which i noticed only after i drove it for breaking in the clutch.

can the leaked CV boot be the reason for the vibration?

also does the driveshaft have grease in it? a person told me to fill the drive shaft with grease because its dry.

thanks.

Whether a torn axle boot causes vibration depends on how long you've been driving with it in that condition. If not repaired immediately, the joint may last with increasing vibration for as long a several years. Axle replacement is required if not attended to immediately.

The driveshaft is greased at the factory. If the driveshaft is worn the only solution is replacement. Driveshaft life is about 120,000 miles before the u-joints become notchy and the Lobro boot fails.

Stupid question but your lug nuts are all torqued and tight? I've had that happen to me before and at higher rpms/speeds you'd get a bad vibration.

When does vibrations occur? Hard acceleration 6000+ RPMs in every gear? And fine when easy on gas at 6000+ RPMs?

they were torqued tight the last time the wheels came off, i will re torque them today and see if this helps.

i would say i noticed it around 300 miles after it was torn...

i read somewhere that the driveshaft has a proper sequence/marking to as how it should go back in, is this true? because the mechanic just pulled it off he didnt mark it with paint or anything.

it is fine when your driving normally below boost and 6000 rpms, when i accelerate hard its good to 6000 rpm after that a humming and vibration starts like if you have a cell phone on vibration, i can feel it in the seat, steering, shifter and under braking when you press the brake paddle it starts to jitter and vibrate.
