Question GSC 5040 vs 5041 springs

I am going to purchase a set of GSC s2 cams along with GSC's valve springs and retainers.
The GSC 5040 are the same price as the hi-rev 5041 springs. Is there any reason I shouldn't purchase the 5041's over the 5040's?

If you're not revving to 8000-8500, stick with 5040. Your S2 cams won't be working as hard since 5040 spring rates are less.

I noticed we have about the same mods, I am also running a 71hta on E85. Currently on stock cams. Hoping to hit same numbers as you once I get my s2's. Is it not a good idea to be reving out the 5040's to 8000-8500? 5040 max rpm is 9500 and max boost is 32 psi

5041 will put more pressure on your cams. For me, I rev out 4th gear at 1/4 mile track. I ran out of fuel without fuel pump rewire, so you may want to address that before tune.
I chose 5041 for extra safety against valve float when clutch lets go. My stock clutch gave out in 4th gear where I revved to 8200+ before I let off about 50 feet before end of 1/4 mile.
Still managed 12.1s at 109 mph

I would like to hit the 1/4 mile and try to hit 11's, ill probably go with the 5040's. Yea, I need to look into upgrading my fuel system. Im also running the RC 1200, which I didn't know were 1090cc using stock fuel pressure until I seen your posts. Wish I knew that before purchasing lol Is your current set up at 460 hp without the rewire?
Ouch, that doesn't sound fun
