Hey it looks like the old monster sport scoop for the Evo7. I dig it!

It's a good idea... any chance of proving its performance enhancement on the dyno? Oh, and it does block the radiator and might cause a temperature gradient. Wonder if that's a problem or not.

I was just about to mention that it blocks half of the radiator off from outside air. That can't be good.

Assuming you're are talking about the scoop behind the grill, it is very rigid. It has held strong at 156mph and long high speed road track runs. The whole shroud is fabricated with mild steel.

We took out our test shroud after a months worth of useage. It still has the same bend from when we fabricated it.

The circled items is what needs to be removed for the install. The installation instructions with the shroud are more detailed.

9 Fasteners, stock air duct, (2) 10mm and (2) 12mm bolts.

...since you can pick up "regular" ones in carbon fibre for less than $100, that seems pretty fair.

Does the bumper need to be removed or will it slide behind it... looks like a tight fit...

You do not need to remove the bumper when installing it. It is a tight squeeze but it goes in without any problems!
