Evo 7 Rear Diff upgrade options - Drag racing Tech Help
Hi Team,
looking for a stronger rear diff upgrade for my evo
Currently AYC stock evo 7 diff .
Been looking at Cusco 1 way LSD rear diff but will that work well with my stock evo 7 T-Case?
What other options can someone offer?
Power band is around 550 to 580kw at the wheels, have done a low 10 but now looking to dig into the mid to high 9s now but my diff gave up and i cant be bothered using a stock diff again (unless thats the best option?)

The rear LSD won't mess with the transfer case at all, but you can't put non-AYC diffs into AYC cars, they won't fit. Cusco does make diffs for AYC cars, but they aren't 'ideal'. You would need the full "RS" style conversion to make the most out of it.
Yes Cusco makes AYC LSD rear diffs, can you please elobate more on not being ideal?
I am looking at the
TYPE-RS Limited Slip Differential
1 way LSDSpecially suited for front wheel drive cars and AWD car front axles. Activates under acceleration, and acts as a true LSD when the throttle is off.
I read up that this is more suitable for Drag racing but i might be wrong.
RS conversion will be hard, once broken will be hard to find replacement parts here
