Evo 9 leak/compression bad
So
these are the results of my tests. Now I was wondering what you guys would suggest, I was thinkin of when I go on deployment next year just take the engine out send it to a shop and rebuild it but that’s not anytime soon. I’ve had people also suggest to buy a stock engine but I have no idea where to start to find a decent stock engine that’s not busted up so any helpful thoughts would be helpful thank you !!!

It all depends on your budget. If you have the money to build, that's what I would do. If not, then you can get a brand new stock block from dealer, and have a shop refresh your head and put back together with new timing components & water pump for about $4k plus your mechanic labor charges. Also, have your injectors cleaned while engine is out.

Also: Are they saying you have 0% leakdown on the other cylinders? That would be impressive. And the first row of numbers is compression? I'm trying to make sense of the readings.

If they can verify mileage. These engines are pretty hard to kill, so chances are it would be okay. Saving $1,400 would be pretty danged nice.
