Big Turbo Intake + Lower Radiator Hose = Clutch Fork Interference
I have a Evo 9 MR 6 speed w/ a larger turbo. I have a fairly large intake tube, which pinches/pushes the lower radiator hose against the clutch fork actuation outside the transmission. Therefore my clutch action feels like garbage. Is there any recommended radiator hoses people use to avoid this issue? A longer hose or a different way to route it to prevent the pinch? Even with a different intake, the gap is so close I feel no matter what the intake is it will still be close with where the rad hose is routed. I have to change it, I can't be driving like this.

My 5-speed does the same thing! - I split an old hose, wrapped it around the radiator hose and zip-tied it in place. Now the fork rubs it instead of the radiator hose. I check it every time I clean the K&N filter. Kinda ghetto but has lasted for 2 years now without any drama.

Sweet, that's what I ordered. Thanks for the info. I will have a 4" intake tube as well, hopefully it'll clear. How is your intake routed? Sharp upward angle to the driver side? Did you buy it or make it? I'm a fan of making my intakes, just to say that I did.
