Driveshaft Rust

Is this amount of rust okay on the face, should I sand it down, leave it, etc?

I'd hit it with a wire wheel or roloc bristle disk.

^Lol! One of the best things I did in my garage was upgrading to a big boy two stage compressor and plumbing in air lines with multiple drops. How do you even air up tires? Dont tell me one of those cig lighter POS units...I couldnt even deal with that at the track anymore and setup an air compressor and tanks on my trailer.

Anyway, have fun with the wire brush Sam

Sure clean it up dont need to go to town just make sure the mating surface is flush and free of rust buildup.

Also, how do you fill that air tank?

Air tools suck, I hate the hose all in the way. Would be different with a lift but rolling around on the floor its no good. Electric is all you need anymore.

LMAO! I mean I guess thats what a compressor is anyway. Just not exactly portable once you add in an air tank.

Hey dont get me wrong I love my electric impacts but it still doesnt hit as hard as my IR2135. I've been using electric more and more bc yeah the hose can get annoying. But cutoff wheel air hammer sand blast cabinet um airing tires, blowing off dust on the work bench and garage floor...shall I go on?
