$1180 for the intercooler?! I was quoted $900 for the R- intercooler and like $750 for the V- intercooler(Greddy of course) but both of those included the upper and lower piping.
Maybe everthing is cheaper in Seattle! Ohh, that was polished on the R version!

The type V does not include the upper piping from anywhere, TRUST ME!! But I paid 700 for the same I/C with lower piping from Initial D.

R-spec will probably require some cutting to fit.

Actually, it did require a little cutting and trimming to fit, but I think there is more difference than just that.... Otherwise I just got ripped-off big time.....

Yeah, I got the UEGO controller with the display. The AEM UEGO communicates with the AEM EMS and can maintain the A/Fs at a set point! Also, I have the ability to monitor the A/Fs all the time
I think the point in that question was rhetorical, in that running a wideband sensor continuously will burn it out in no time. You should really only be plugging it in for tuning purposes, otherwise you will be replacing sensors right and left.

I did not cut anything, but the guys at Boost Solutions claimed they had to trim something or other....

Hmmmm..... I'd swear that the UEGO is meant to be on all the time. After all, if it can be used as a feedback to the AEM EMS to control the A/Fs, it would seem to be able to be used continuously..... I'd best look into this

Yea unless they have some sort of super-duper sensor, it will burn out fast.
