SL2R is probably the best Green wheel you can get. Use the 9 blade version. Next you will need to pick a 20G wheel. There's probably 50 variations to pick from. Lol

Yeah, I'll have to do a little more research into these before I buy one. I've just rebuilt my TD05-16G standard turbo but he'll be restricting the engine past 380hp. I've found some great condition Evo 9 FQ360 rods and pistons that came out of a standard engine and they are in great condition going for $187. I'm going to grab them, some new rings and shell bearings and use them. Then i should be good for all of what you guys are saying above once I've got the other supporting mods. Plus then, I can keep the pistons and get matching rods if I see fit later on down the road.

Anything else I need or should get?

EDIT: I've been looking at this turbo for a while now. Would this be adequate? - https://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/263024026402

Don't get 25G. They don't make much more power than 20G but have crazy lag. You will hate that turbo.

Also, who will install your pistons & rods and make sure all clearances are done right?

Not to mention that kinugawa turbos are pretty crap 😂 no, wouldn't touch that with a barge pole. I was thinking about keeping my standard TD05 but chucking a 20G wheel and anti surge housing on it and then getting a 9 blade TD06 turbine.

Also, I'll be building the engine myself with the help of a mechanic I know who has all the tools and the knowledge who is also willing to teach me.

Should be fun!

I will be testing TD05 20G soon. Then TD06SL2R 20G next. I just need to sell my Red so I don't keep using my credit cards to pay for everything.

Oh keep me updated. Be interesting to see what you think of the 20G. Thanks
