Help identify this turbo!

Can anyone help me identify the turbo on my Evo IX without having to remove it? I'm not able to make out the serial numbers from the photo. It looks like a stock IX turbo that's been modified to a 20G

The casting is def a Mitsu EvO turbo. Take some SimpleGreen w/a Scotch Brite pad & lightly go over the model no. area (im sure the model no. will appear readable)

Thanks man, I'll give it a try. I was afraid the model numbers were grinded off by the previous owner!

Looks like stock IX compressor wheel to me. This old wheel is stock IX vs new cast 20G.

Thanks for the tip man! I've been able to boost up to 1.8 BAR (26 PSI) with this tune and turbo so I've been wondering if it was really stock.
I haven't sat in a bone stock Evo before so I don't have a point of reference.

I agree it looks stock. The stock turbo can spike upwards of 30psi on the hit.
