The ACD lights coming on like that could be a bad sign. I wonder if it is possible for a slip in the drive train of an evo to occur anywhere else other than the clutch disk.

UPDATE!!! So the car has been at the shop for a few weeks. Even though the clutch pressure felt better it still was slipping and making noise.. So bought a new clutch rated for 700ftlbs from quartermaster because the car is getting a built bottom end this winter and new turbo set up. Along with that we went through the entire car and replaced the questionables. At the end of the day we replaced a lot of stuff. Battery Fusable link, alternator, new flywheel bolts, map sensor, coolant temp sensor clutch and mustache bar. We did the mustache bar delete kit and solid bushings which is awesome, the new clutch feels great and is a lot easier to drive then the previous one was. Drained and put new fluids in the acd and primed everything per mitsu spec, the intake manifold that's on it will be getting replaced in the future also because the map sensor was relocated for some reason and it was rubbing on the alternator.. Someone literally cut out a piece of the alternator housing to make it "fit" so the new map on there now doesn't rub but its cloooose..

I love the car and I'm finally able to drive it and enjoy it. After this winter it should be as perfect as it can be with solid parts and a solid tune. The final conclusion is that the clutch wasn't holding the power through the tcase and this car had a ton of gremlins. lol
