JDM bumper fit exhaust on USDM bumper?

I need to get a new catback and have a stock USDM bumper but plan to switch to the shorter JDM bumper in the future. Will I be able to get by with a Buschur Racing JDM bumper fit exhaust with the USDM bumper until I get a JDM bumper? I just don't want it dumping exhaust too far forward and burning the underside of the car or filling the trunk with exhaust.

Thanks!

The exhaust will come out about 2" shorter so its going to do exactly what you mentioned i.e burn your bumper especially if you plan to track it like that. Maybe stick a turn down on for time being or hold off on exhaust until you get bumper sorted out.

You could also order the USDM exhaust and then when you switch bumpers cut a small section from behind the exhaust tip and weld it back on. That's how I made my AMS exhaust fit when I switched to JDM rear.
