Question about installing the head after head assembly
So ill be sending in the head to get assembled, cams, springs/retainers and valve stem seals and will also get it re surface.
I'm just curious about after the head gets assembled and i come and pick it up.. All the assembly lube that will be used to get all the parts installed wont be in the area that they're suppose to be.
Ps. Ill be dropping off and picking up the head the same day and will probably take me the whole weekend to get the whole car back together.
I figured that maybe if i dont add any extra assembly lube anywhere before i install the head, i might come into a dry start and maybe cause me some unnecessary problems.
Any advice?
Also wondering what would be the best spark gap when running a cop kit?
After all my mods are done and tuned, I might get close to 380hp, tuned on 94oct
thanks!

Assembly lube is thick stuff, it isn't going to go anywhere. If you want to prime the oil system, disconnect the crank angle sensor and crank the motor over for a bit before starting. Take your time and triple check all your timing marks before attempting to start the motor. The oil pump is a little tricky to get in phase so do your homework. At your power level anything between a .020-.024 would probably be fine for gap.
