Ok so my 8 is leaking through the o2 dump at idle. I checked the adjustment on the actuator for the wastegate and it seams ok. The hole in the arm is about 1/4 inch short of the flapper. Any things to try before I start to rip it apart? I know it has a divided gasket because I put it in. Oh and my girlfriends car does the same exact thing. Checked hers to. So same thing must be going on.

If you're 100% sure the wastegate has preload and you used a divided gasket you'll have to pull it back apart and make sure the flapper is seating correctly. The turbine housing could be crack, or it could be warped, or the flapper could be warped.

 

That’s what I was afraid of...I can push on the actuator arm and the thing still won’t close.
