FP hta 71 CHRA

Hello guys. I m interested in forced performance FP CHRA hta 71 and was wondering if this turbo is compatible with the evo 9 stock turbo and what modifies needed for this installation! Thanks a lot!

Yeah, a lot of us run this, including myself.
  • Yes, its compatible for the 8 or 9 turbo. If you install it on an 8 you will need the FP install kit
  • a 84MM intake pipe needed
  • Tune needed
  • Supporting mods (fuel pump/injectors etc)
  • No modifications needed to mount. Its a straight cold side upgrade. No fabrication or other mounting mods needed

How much power this turbo can give? With gsc s2 cams? (including full exhaust, 340 fuel pump, 1050x id, ets 3.5 inch i /c and hks intake)

With my tune, on E85 (Running S2's & 1000cc RC inj) i made 460 DynoJet HP. So in my case, the HTA71 & the S2's netted approx 45 Dynojet WHP

Yes, stock bottom end & head except for S2's (@25 PSI)

One important fact i left out:
My results were somewhat muted as the tuner ran out of injector, otherwise there may have been another 20+ WHP at higher RPM
