Mystery oil leak!

I'd say this is definitely the bolt annnnd it looks like I did rtv this sucker. Guess I'll use the red rtv this time since all I have is super strong red loctite..

Glad you went at it now, you def would be annoyed with yourself taking the lazy way and letting it leak.

And thanks for the pic, this is most certainly the same leak I have.

Use thread sealant. RTV doesn't seal threads.

Absolutely, I kept thinking about how little effort it was going to be to just take it back apart. At this point I've essentially done a timing belt on a 4g63 like 7 times. I can get to it pretty quick.

Good call. I'll stop off and get some tomorrow and whip it back together before bed lol.

So it's been a while, I've put about 350 miles on the car in that time and I have yet to see a drop of oil. So thanks to everyone for the pics and tips!

Now I have to degrease the bottom of the car lol
