p0340 and p0335 its not the camshaft sensor

My Evo IX keeps throwing p0344 and p0355 causing a fuel cut at 2300-25000 rpms in all gears also the car is running very lean . I have no idea what it can be . I purchased 2 new cam sensors one for exhaust side and one for the mivec intake side which has a specific part number and the car continues to fuel cut and run lean . the car back fires when I rev it to 2300 rpms pretty loud . ALSO Im currently running a stock ecu on speed density . in the process of trying to figure this out i purchased a AEM V2 ecu & 5 bar map sensor went through all the wizard setting up the tps/injectors/map sensors/ etc...and the car doesn't fire up on the aem . something I did notice on the aem v2 while cracking the engine I'm getting timing errors . I've checked the timing 5 times and also had others recheck the timing and its dead on . also check the wiring and it has signal and power and ground to the wiring plugs .

I installed the stock ecu back on the car and fired it up while the car is running unplugged the exhaust Side camshaft sensor and the car kept running and the misfire at 2300 rpms went away but still runs very very lean almost like limp mode on every gear like it takes forever to get to 3000rpms , pulled back in the garage and while the car was running plugged the camshaft sensor back on and the car immediately dies ? WTF

ANYONE HAS GONE THROUGH THIS

you need to look at the cam/crank correlation with a scope

this video explains the process well, although it is not an Evo.

If you haven't already inspect the harness. If I'm not mistaken all those sensors share a ground back to the ecu. Also inspect all your chassis grounds. I'll try and post a circuit diagram later

More info would help. Was the car running fine before and then this just happened? Is this a new build? Are there cams or can gears on the car? Are you running a tubular exhaust manifold?

the car was not running before I purchased it as a rolling shell with full interior and he threw in a bunch of are parts like power steering pump, alternator, camshafts sensors , crankshaft sensors which I reused for my built engine ...... I installed a new built engine with unported cylinder head and s3 cams and got new trans and tcase / fuel system /intake manifold and super 99 turbo kit . I triple checked my cams to make sure everything was installed correctly even the mivec and exhaust side camshaft sensing plate to make sure they where in the right position which they are .

I have gone through the wiring i'm getting a good ground & 12v signal now from the plug I don't have a way of testing the 0.5v signal wire without a scope . I try to fire up the car with the aem series 2 just reads timing errors . put the stock ecu back and the old camshafts sensors and it fires right up , the crazy thing is if I try to start it with the any other camshaft sensor from my friends car it will not fire up . I linked up with a few friends with evo 9 and tried out their cam sensor and the car will not fire up put my old ones back in there car and fires right up but I still get a lean condition and fuel cut at 2500rpms area. yeah this is a head scratcher . this is my 4th evo never had happened .

thank you , I will double check but I do get 12v power and good ground with continuity .
