New Stock frame turbos from comp turbo

Hello guys,
as title states did anyone try these turbos offered newly from comp turbo they offer a 5858 and 6262 in an MHI housing using a triplex ceramic ball bearing. The comp wheel and turbine shaft for there 6262 are the biggest i have ever seen fit in an evo 9 turbo.

Historically speaking, pretty much every other turbo company short of Turbonetics blows Comp out of the water.

Lately I've noticed they've been pushing a lot on social media with their new "customized" turbos which just looks like they're selling turbos to guys building show cars. Their wheel designs just look like the same off the shelf compressors and turbines that other companies use. Also looks like they eliminate the water cooling system from the turbo which is a big turn off for me.

But if you're interested enough, give it a shot and let us know how it works out.

I have never used one of their turbos neither i know someone locally who did.And i had no idea about their history. But what made me make this thread is the size of the turbine shaft and the comp wheel used in the 6262 they are offering as a bolt on solution.
Would like to see a dyno graph on the turbo before i consider getting it for that price.

The housing is really the limiting factor on stock frame turbo. Even FP is already shoving a big turbine wheel in a tiny housing (67.3mm inducer, 58.8mm exducer for the green/red/black).

The turbine shaft being larger is a moot point, it doesn't need to be larger. I don't think I've ever seen or heard of one failing.

Here's a thread about their stuff from a few years back. Doesn't look like much really came of it but if you read the last two pages it sounds like these turbos have been around for a while now without any amazing results.

Mine did. Compressor wheel snapped right off. FP couldn't figure out why. Then again, I have exceptionally bad luck.

Your green also ejected turbine blades for "some" reason.

That's the one. The whole wheel broke off. But hey.. I got one solid AutoX event out of it before it went *BOOM* I think I still have the comp wheel around here, somewhere.
