Cosworth Cam Help

Hi guys, I’m hoping someone can help me identify which Cosworth cams that I have. I’m unable to read the #’s except for the ones by the belt which are S2-EX, LG 87 and on the other one has S2-IN. Thanks in advance

I just googled the cams and based on the color marks it looks to be M1's...but I don't think that'st the correct way to identify the cam size. Have you tried spinning the engine clockwise to read the other numbers?

Thanks for the reply. I was unable to find a pic with the color marks. Looks like the M3’s have yellow, M2’s white and brown markings and M1’s haven’t found anything consistent. I did turn the motor over and the #’s are unreadable. I also couldn’t find a contact for Cosworth.
Thank you

You can measure lift with a dial indicator and it'll be easy to tell which cams you have.

Thanks for the advice, but I have already put my valve cover back on, it’s my daily driver. I was just hoping someone would be able to tell. Not sure what the benefits between a M1 or M2, but wanted to know for sure.
Thanks again
