Shaving intake manifold/vacuum box

I plan to shave the intake manifold like this

I was wondering if I would run into any trouble if I set up a vacuum box and hiding it out of the way. I was planning on drilling/welding a hole in the back of the intake manifold as the source for vacuum to the box. The only thing for now that I was going to run off of the vacuum box is my boost gauge and bov line.

I just want to clean up the intake since it is an eye sore and hide the lines out of the way

wouldnt be a problem... long as it doesnt leak.

lots of "vacuum blocks" on the market also.

If you can find one, I used an Evo 7 intake manifold as it doesn't have egr or all the normal vac ports then drilled and tapped 1/16npt holes for everything
