Buschur long rod 2.4 with 9.0:1 CR. S2 cams and modded cam gear.
How much mivec advance before piston to valve contact? Theoretical is fine

 

I think(based on my research as I'll need to time a 4g64), hopefully someone with more experience can help. You'll need to find true crank TDC and camshaft centerline, then adjust the camgears from there. I'm still doing research on this so don't quote me or take my advice.

How advanced are you trying to go?

If i was to do mine over again i wouldnt have modded the gear at all. 24-28 degrees same difference to me.

 

I'm looking to get in the mid 30's 36° or so to see if I get any changes in afr(ve)
