Boostlab 25g Turbo

Hey guys, I have been researching 20g and 25g turbos for my Evo 8, and I think I am going to go with a 25g. I was wondering if anyone has had experience with boostlab’s 25g. It looks like the best quality out of most 25g turbos I have seen...

You can get an actually quality turbo from FP that will spool faster, make more power, and doesn't have China parts in it for another $7-800 depending if you get a green or a red.

Yup, exactly another $550 gets you a MHI 18K which will have the longevity and build quality of a OEM factory turbo. Probably the same performance too.

I have dealt with them a few times for things over the years. They aren't bad at what they do and for the money, but as suggested you could go to FP or Borg or pte or Garrett and get better quality stuff.

I remember MAP turbos. I had one that died twice, before they decided to quit building/fixing them.

What a mess that was.

Using a 25G turbo for the last 6 months. Has increased lag and immense back pressure(needs a 2 bar spring to hold 25PSI) I would not advice on it..
