How does this Piston, Rod and Crankshaft combination sound?

Hello everyone, if you've stumbled onto this post I'd like to know your experience with this combination of parts I'm considering for the build of my motor.

- Callies Knife Edged Billet Crankshaft 94mm
- Callies Ultra I Beam 153mm Length
- CP Pistons 9.0 Compression

Essentially I'm gonna be looking at building a 2.2 Stroker, now being that Callies is abit newer to the 4G63 market, i was wondering if anyone had any experience with them? Long story short I'm looking at 1000HP and 9K RPM usage, if anyone has any other tried and proven combination motor packages I'd love to know more.

I haven't fully started looking at what to throw on the cylinder head, if anyone has recommendations that would be awesome. But I had been recommended to use the GSC Valve Springs along with S3 Cams and lifters, along with valves and valve guides, lifters and so on.

Alittle more info, it's going to paired up with a Precision 6870, or potentially bigger if my wallet is feeling generous. It will be running on Flex Fuel, so mostly 70% street use (pump gas) and 30% E85 (track).

Thank you.

You can't go wrong with callies! They produce some very solid stuff. I'm sure the high HP guys will chime in but for your goals, wouldn't aluminum rods be better?

All the hardware you posted are fine and proven to handle that power. The smaller details make all the difference. I'd opt for arp625 rod bolts and 625 headstuds. Do you plan to oring the block, its a debatable topic? How will you address the oiling system? GSC make quality valve components, I personally run kiggly but there are other brands proven to work for your goals.

Aluminum Rods would be sufficient but I don't wanna have to deal with servicing the motor frequently, so i'd rather keep steel rods because they won't be running at 1000hp all the time.

Yeap most definitely will be O Ringing the block and modifying the oiling journals making them smoother etc. As for the valve train i've heard of Kiggly and i'll have a closer look at them.

You should be fine with that. As stated above I'd def 625 bolts for the rods. I went with the Callies crank with Manley pro rods and pistons with 9:1 as well.
