Idle issues - light coughing when idling

Hello all,
been a while since I posted. However!
The car is an -03 JDM evo 8.
I have searched all over but i don't seem to find a similar issue.
To start off, during winter storage there has been quite a bit of changes.
evo 9 turbo, new, ported manifold, walbro 255 pump, mishimoto race IC, new downpipe, new spark plugs and oils etc, but i guess the engine parts are most relevant.

To the issue.
After starting up after all changes were made, it was idling at about 700rpm with coughing, engine almost died a few times when warmed up.
I can't remember how it ran on the cold start, but since I didn't react it was most likely nothing unusual.

We did some test drives to see engine temp, coolant levels etc, and the car ran just fine during driving. No coughing or anything.
We hoped that the planned tune would help, so I went for the tune today.

After the tune was done, the cold start sounded as it should have, rpm on about 1600 and no coughs.
As the car warmed up, it went down to idling at 900rpm but with tiny coughs happening regularly, nothing that changed the needle more than about plus minus 50-100 rpm.

Any idea what this could be?

After searching a bit I have seen many, many referances to IAC issues, however my car does not stall on idle.

Sorry if this has been a thread earlier, but I could not find any.
