O2 Housing
O2 Housing
Hello....
Would like to know if anyone had tried installing an aftermarket O2 housing on their Evo?
I installed mine yesterday, BUT mine connected via 2 bolts....instead of 3 - like the stock cast iron housing.
I'm having problems with this idea...my concerns are reliability, stress on the exhaust/turbo manifold, etc....
Presently considering reinstalling the stock housing, or maybe "fabricate" a brace of some sort. The way I see it, there must be a reason Mitsu designed it to connect via 3 bolts instead of 2, so...
Not naming retailer or manufacturer till I get more "informed" about this.
Thanks.
BTW..installation of JIC headers, the housing....accompanied by Perrin turbo-back HKS intake, and Shiv's box...dude, its crazy man!! Wondering what to do with my cams? Anybody want to trade JUN 264's with a set of RA-1's???
