Hello I have been having a terrible idle issue, I was getting code p0122 for tps. And also had some buckling issues while driving on the free way.

I took the car home immediately and checked the tps sensor, the clip that connects the harnesses was gone and the harness was barely connected. I connected the harness together without the clip and cleared the code. I started the car again and same idle issues with no code.

I took the tps sensor off and noticed the plastic mounting hole on the side of the tps was completely gone and the other side was on its way to breaking off.

my question is, could this be causing the buckling issues on the freeway, and idle due to the tps having those broken mounting points?
