Angry AFR Lean idle issues

I've had the car for a couple of weeks now and am very new to the platform I have done hours of looking and haven't found anything that matches the issue I am having, So to start I have a fully built 2006 evo its got 650whp on e85 and 450 on 91 pump everything was running fine at first idle was ok. I changed out the alternator and ever since then whenever I start the car my AFR gauge reads completely leaned out between 22-25 when I drive the vehicle the AFR smooths back out and there isnt any issues but when I start going into boost it goes rich and when I come to a stop it will die almost every time unless I give throttle as well as at idle sounds like its choking on fuel and it is dying out but it reads fully leaned out. Just trying to get some ideas on what might be causing the issue I have a CEL but no sure the exact code I will add that to the thread.

Did you make sure you are on the correct map for the fuel you are on? Disconnecting the battery or flashing a IX resets the map switcher in Tephra.

Yes I'm on the correct map for the fuel I'm running have double checked quite a few times but not if you have to disconnect the battery to switch maps then no I'm not because I didn't realize that was a part of the process.
