hi,
my cars has some jm turbo technology evo 9 type turbocharger ,previous owner installed it, and now its dead after a season. So im looking for turbocharger for the car.
My dreams arent that big, 380-400hp is way enough for me for street and some track days. The car already did it good. Internals are stock , it has simply a bigger fuel pump, ecumaster ecu, changed resisors, changed boost pressure etc..
Im thinking on OEM Evo 9 turbo , but found some turbocharger kits like ARMS TOMEI M7963, which are not much hugher in price and about the diagrams it know more than the OEM 9 turbo. So my question is that, should i buy one of this kits like Tomei?.. its a good choice?.. has the market good stock size kits what is better then the OEM 9 ?..

 

If your looking for an OEM+ kinda turbo, I think the MHI TF06-18k would be a really strong contender.

 

its an evo 8 with evo 9 turbo so we can say its little bit upgraded up from the stock, but if i goin for the tf06 i can do it with stock engine internals??

 

Yes, stock internals should be no problem.

 

stay away from tomei. My buddy blew 2 of them in less than 6 months without making more power than a stock evo 9 turbo
