quick question about Pressure testing for boost leaks?

My evo wont hold boost solid so im tryin to figure out why. Ive tried everything but a pressure test. Can i just plug a bycicle pump into the inlet of the turbo and start pumping to see if i can hear leaks? Is it that simple?

I know i have to plug the manual boost controller. Other than that, is that all i do

Yes, you can pressure test that way but that would be a lot of pumping I believe hehe.
