Oem Airbox max hp ?

Oem Airbox max hp ?

Hi due to tightened rules here in Denmark i'm forced to go back to oem airbox.
any ideas of how much it can flow ?
and does anyone have had luck modifying it to accomodate more power ? (500hp ish)

i dont know the answer... but a better question is what power can you make with a maf car running a stock frame turbo.

since i would assume you would need both of these to run the stock air box.
the air box itself is probably not the limiting factor.

I remember my tuner telling me an open cone intake is worth approx 15 WHP (DynoJet)

I would imagine you could still produce some good no.s w/a high flow filter, the MAF & the stock box

The Maf is Gutted so its only an adapter so it fits the stock box.
its all about appearences :P

I made 500 awhp on stock box.

Now that we know this is really a clandestine SD set-up, here in the states, running E85 i bet one could see 500-700 dyno numbers providing the turbo, injectors, pumps, cams, boost & tune etc could support

Orig post is a bit deceiving

sorry the car is fully built, with All the Bells and whitles.
the issue is current mood of the police is tough, they are taking cars sending them to the stealerships and giving a blank check to revert to stock, or scrap the car.
so My solution is back to stock turbo, though with bigger wheels and stock airbox. and a big catalyst so emissions is in check and I dont get pulled for reasonable doubt. if everything looks stock they cant do anything 😂🙈

Hello Michael. In my opinion, if you are looking for an opinion on what your 4G63 motor will make w/a gutted air box & MAF you should list the specifications vs "Bells & Whistles"
What displacement? / what turbo?/ what injectors? / head work? / fuel pump(s) / fuel type / cams, etc,etc

it aint a question of how much the engine will produce it made 550 with the old turbo, thats now "illegal" i have made 450 with a modified 10,5 turbo with a cone filter.
my question is there anyone there have experience in how much air that i possible to cram through the stock airbox.
but to answer you question 2.0, custom 10,5 evo9 turbo, 1000cc 450lph pump, gsc s2 cams. 100oct ron, stock head/valves with manley springs and retainers.
