Question Where should I start with my mods ?

Hey guys I was wondering if I could have your opinions.

Its a 7, it already has the common first mods (full exhaust, dp, fmic, intake, wheels, coilovers, fuel pump, tune). I have a aftermarket turbo and 272 cams ready to install. I also have injectors but the shop can put those in when they do the new tune. I was wondering if I should do 1 first or if I should do both at the same ? Is there other mods I should do before or at the same time ? I was also wondering if I should upgrade pistons and rods if I'm going to be doing a bigger turbo, cams, and injectors as well just so I don't blow a hole in my block and end up costing me a lot more in the end. I plan on doing the work myself if anyone has any tips or recommendations.

Thanks

Really depends if you want to throw the dice and hope your rods will hold with the amount of power you'll make or do you have the funds to throw down on a full rebuild?

I think these cars are alot of fun and reliable at lower power levels. The stock 8/9 engine will live a long time under 400wtq with good tuning. I'm not sure on the Evo 7.
For a 470-550whp goal. I'd suggest a set of ID1300's or something your tuner has a polished file for. E85 if possible
An FP Red/green MHI or Green SS.
ACT full face clutch or Exedy twin.
Walbro 450 274 pump
Those cams will work but a set of S2's or Kelford 278/280's might be a bit better. A set of springs is a good idea.

An FP red MHI all in on E85 makes around 600whp. An FP red SS housing makes about 50-70whp more on kill.

If you want more then 500whp, Or want to build an engine. Do yourself a favor and buy a 94mm crank. The G30-770 is a nice turbo . Or if you want to make 900-950whp the Xona 9569/10569 works well.
