Al dyno tunned it, he had nothing to do with it i didnt even have a MBC when Al tunned it, when i got the MBC my guage was ready 23 psi, when i switched guages it read 28 psi.....who knows whats wrong??? all im saying is a 12.6 isnt slow from what ive seen in the evos personlay but who knows, i might try another guage and see what happens, its installed corectly we already checked the hoses for the guage.........i ran the 12.6 when the gage was corect running 23 psi

still doesn't make any sense. the first time you went on the dyno you got like 350 hp right? than when you turned down the boost to 23 you got around 300 right? which means that whe you ran the car at the track, it was on 28psi. the guage has nothing to do with it, look at the dyno numbers.

no feul cut with the dynoflash
im running 11-1 air/feul staright as an arrow. 23 psi on new guage and ran 2 nights ago 12.67@108 with 1.89 60ft. i also THIS IS ALL ON 23...LET ME SAY AGAIN 23......PSI.....LOL.....I also ran a 12.77@111 but spun through first.....the point of the story that noone thought was funny and got all mad like a bunch of wussies is............my car ran the same times if not better when i dynoed at 330 wh and 360 ft lbs then when i dynoed at 309 whp 320 ft lbs.....and no the dyno isnt broken!!!! lol

That is not funny, that is worrisome, and I would be trying to figure out why your car performed that way.

I have to disagree with you, simply for the fact that when my dealership couldnt figure out a lack of boost problem i was having, they unplugged the actuator for the wastegate (as the tech line told them to do) and took it out to see if it would achieve full boost.. and being that i was with him, 29lbs is very scary, i was thinking "when is the head going to blow off!" but it was just fine, and the tech line said quote "oh the block can hold 30+ lbs easy".

THANK YOU!!! all the other guys on this forum, well most, think they know everything about an evo cause they bought one....

EZ76.....what do you mean performed???? i hit 28 psi cause my MBC was tunred up too high so i lowered it to 23 psi.......problem fixed, ran a 12.6, life goes on.........

How about posting some dyno graphs and some timeslips? It might help to show what's going on...

I can't understand how you were running 28psi and more HP and your 1/4 mi times were the same with the boost turned down to 23psi and less HP?

It seems like simple math - less HP equals slower times...Maybe your timeslips will show some things...

Your initial thread and the rest of your explanations are a bit fragmented and scattered with bits of info coming here and there in response to other people's posts.

I don't think we are questioning your story or doubting you, it's more like your post is confusing as heck and does not make any sense.

For example, you mentioned in one of your posts that you had set the MBC at 28psi originally and then turned it down to 23psi. Why set the MBC so high in the first place?

I am worried because you seem very flippant with the whole thing and believe me, 28psi is NOT something to be flippant about - and the same goes for 23psi!
