Talking This is awesome, listen to this....!!!

I was at the dyno a month ago on an AWD dyno jet in Chocranville,PA, i hit a whopping 330whp 362 ft lbs....none could believe it!! and i was only running 12.6 12.7 at the track wich is good, but not for that much power.....so out of curiosity i switched out boost guages with a new auto meter one with a white face to match guages, i was maxing at 28 PSI !!!!! dropping to 26 at redline!!!!!my guage was broken!!!! so we went back to the dyno running 23 PSI and i hit 308 whp 321ft lbs....still very good for turboback, MBC, DYNOFLASH, and it made me feel better about my times casue know they matched my numbers....it will be fun cause i do my clutch tonight and ill be at Englishtown Sat for Mitsubishi day and well see what she runs...funny story i think..later.....

Huh? So you are saying you hit 12.67 at 108.9mph with 28psi boost and now you have the boost down to 21psi because the previous boost gauge was faulty.
In other words, now you make less power and should not go as fast as before with 308whp at 21psi compare to 330whp at 28psi.
I guess it's good news.

yeah its weird, its like with 28 psi it mad e tons of power but maybe on the strret it wasnt running properly i dont know, is that posssible??? know with 23 psi it seems to run smoother and still runs its *** off, i beat an 03 vette with full exhaust chip and intake at the track and it seems to not lost any power when i changed the boost back to normal....

12.6@ 108 seems a little slow for those mods? i'd expect you to be in deep 12's with those mods/power

Im sorry, but there is no way a stock turbo will push 28psi and then hold 26psi. THe most a stock turbo will do is about 25 and then taper to more than 22psi. Your guages are probably no good anyhow.

I agree with superz. Your second gauage may be malfunctiong aswell. Or connected incorrectly. The 16g in the evo runs out of breathe at 25 psi and if so your engine is taking a beating on the detonation side unless you runing some high oct .

So Dynoflash tuned your car at 28 psi? That seems a little irresponsible.

I highly recommend finding an accurate gauge, i.e. something with an accuracy of 1-2% full scale.

i don't even know what to say about this post. you are saying that you ran 12.7 with 330whp and it seemed slow for the power so now you turned down the boost and you are making lower numbers. wouldn't that make you run even slower???

i think i get it now. you think that the new numbers match the 12.7 that you ran but that was on 28psi which means that the new numbers will be much slower because it is only at 23psi.

yep, makes perfect sense

i think you should get rid of the autometer guage and get a defi or something known to be more accurate.

Must of been mail in flash, AL would of saw bad detonation or ign timing with that much boost...

Stick with Greddy or defi on the guages.....
