Hmm, what does that clutch sound mean?
Recently my clutch pedal has felt a tad bit resistant when depressing, and I can hear squeaking (with engine off) letting the clutch in and out. It happens towards the middle and full depression of the clutch and both going in and out. The sound seems to originate from inside the clutch/transmission housing. Am I looking at a bad clutch part or am I safe to keep on going since it seems fine other than the slight resistance and sound? I had the clutch replaced with an ACT ME2-HDSS 2 years and 20,000 miles ago.
Here is a video of the sound.

First try greasing that contact point between the clutch fork and the slave push rod. This same sound was happening for me and this fixed it. Hope its something this simple for you.
When cold I don’t hear the noise. I drove it over 30 miles before noticing the sound again…back in the garage with the engine off. I sprayed some liquid grease over the clutch fork, but still the sound.
This might be from inside the clutch. Anyone have any thoughts? I can’t imagine I can get to anything else without having the transmission out??? That’s out of my skill set.
Is this a case of driving and ignoring the noise?
