These welds held up Sunday at the auto cross I went to. The only thing I would recommend is to get better clamps and bead the ends. I had the hose pop off a few times from all the pressure.

The killer of the welds could be vibration also. Feels good doing a DIY project however.

Yeah, doing projects feels good.
I do have some other projects I did already. Like: blacked out headlights and MR style taillights. Once I'm done with the i/c , I want to do a suction pipe. It doesnt look too hard to do.

What did you weld that with? They look gold like you brazed it or something.

A big difference between that and a purchased one is the inner edges are gonna be much smoother on one bent out of one piece than they will on that one. You have rough edges inside where the welds are and thats going to greatly effect airflow.

How has it held up?
